Mikael Levin: Christina’s History

Produced in conjunction with Mikael Levin: Christina’s History, an exhibition  presented at Le Point du Jour, Cherbourg; the Museu Coleccao Berardo, Lisbon; and the Musée d’art et d’historie du Judaisme, Paris. This body of work tells the story of the Jewish diaspora from Zgierz, Poland, to Lisbon to Guinea-Bissau in more than 180 black and white photographic images. The front endpaper folds out as a three-page gatefold which introduces of the volume of images in this body of work, presented as a multi-projector slide show installation. The book’s three chapters show these images in a running horizontal flow and present a fluid visual narration that formally echoes the flight it depicts.
