Unfinished Business

Unfinished Business: Paintings from the 1970s and 1980s by Ross Bleckner, Eric Fischl, and David Salle

Produced in conjunction with an exhibition that presented the work of three artists—Ross Bleckner, Eric Fischl and David Salle—who met at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in the 1970s and subsequently gravitated to New York and the East End.  Bold and edgy were the adjectives behind some the design decisions, such as the exposed sewn spine, flush cut cover boards, font (Univers condensed bold) and tight outside text margins.

Published by Parrish Art Museum and Prestel • Delmonico, 2016, 26.67 × 24.9 cm, 88 pages, exposed sewn spine, cover is paper on board, flush cut

ISBN: 978-3-7913-5515-3
