Surrealism: Desire Unbound
Produced in conjunction with the exhibition presented at Tate Modern, London, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The fonts and the jarring juxtapositions in the layout were inspired by surrealist and Dada publications. The book emphasizes the dream-like, experimental, and irreverent surrealist formula leavened with an implicit eroticism. The chapter opening caps letters are by the Surrealist artist Toyen.
