Maya Polsky, an art dealer based in Chicago, wanted a sexy invitation for her 50th birthday party and came to me as she knew of the Ubu invitations and in particular, the Molinier stocking. She wanted a stocking. However, I convinced her there were other provocative solutions. Guests received a gold cube mailer box beautifully sealed with a letterpress label. Inside a gold letterpress card and gold bow nested in a bed of feathers—a feather boa. Several guests arrived at the party wearing the invite!
